We will see Jorge Newbery Airport, River Plate Stadium, University of Buenos Aires, Olivos residence (where the president lives). Then we will arrive to Tigre where we will begin our navigation into the Parana Delta. Hundreds of islands are part of this unique ecosystem that it is located only 20km distance from Buenos Aires.

Iguazú. Breakfast. In the morning excursion to the Argentinean side of the Iguassu National Park. Located inside the Iguazú National Park you will find more than 200 waterfalls, from 30 to 80mts high, which all together are called to be the “Iguazú Falls”. The Argentine side of the falls is divided into 3 trails (Upper, inferior and Devils Throat).
These tours take you to visit part of the Iguazú National Park. It preserves 67.000 ha. of giant trees, vines and ferns living with multicoloured butterflies, birds and other mammals all of them part of the rich local flora and fauna.
The park was declared Natural WorldHeritage in 1984, due to its scenic beauties and the great biological diversity of the subtropical jungle. The famous falls are in the heart of this Park.
We start the visit at the Local Museum and continue the tour with the Lower Trail, from where we can see among others, the ” Two sisters Falls”, the “Bossetti Fall”, the “Hidden Fall”, a panoramic view of “San Martin island ” and the “Union Fall”.
Later we walk the Upper Trail shifting along walkways located above major falls up to the majestic “San Martin Fall”from where we have a panoramic view of the Brazilian falls.
Finally, we go with the Train of the Jungle up to “Devil’s Throat” station. From there, after 1,000 meters walk along the catwalks, we come to the spectacular “Devil’s Throat”, where the Iguazu river speaks with all its strength and the falling water gives the illusion of magic rainbows.
Breakfast. In the morning Excursion to Brazilian side of the waterfalls. Once inside the park, visitors will be astonished by its neatness, beauty and extension (175.000 has). Also the same as in the National Park of Argentina, you will find a great bio-diversity. For sure nature will welcome them with fantastic colorful butterfly’s, which are a delight to watch as they fly in hundreds, offering a great natural show.
Due to the fact that 80% of the falls belong to Argentina, the Brazilian park has to offer only one walking trail, of about 1000m of length. From this trail you will have the best panoramic views, of all of the falls from both countries.
Located at the end of this trail, there is an elevator, which offers a wonderful view of the Brazilian park, and the “Floreano” fall. For sure one of the most beautiful views in this park.

Breakfast. Day at leisure, we suggest High Andes tour along the Mendoza river: This excursion takes us from Mendoza city to the borderline with Chile along paved roads where we can enjoy tourist services, and which runs bordering the Mendoza river.
One of the sights on the way is the Potrerillos Valley Dam.
Uspallata is a wide valley whose urban center offers a variety of places to eat and to stay for the night. It used to be the settlement of the native Huarpe people in pre-Hispanic times. A short distance away there are some historical constructions that, despite being made of clay bricks, are kept in very good condition. They are called Las Bóvedas. The historical importance of these ancient rough buildings is the fact that they once were the site where the cannons and weapons used in the Chilean Independence War were manufactured.
Our next stops are at small villages: Picheuta, Polvaredas and Punta de Vacas (from which you easily reach the famous Los Penitentes village.
Los Penitentes is principally a ski center located 167km from Mendoza city. It is open for skiing from June to August and a great site for adventure activities throughout the year. The chairlift will allow you to have a privileged panoramic view of the area.
Further ahead, we will reach Puente del Inca (Inca’s Bridge) at 2720 meters above sea level. The Las Cuevas River has bored the mountain and formed a natural bridge where thermal water also flows. Nearby is the Cemetery of Mountain Climbers. There is a magnificent viewpoint a short distance from the border which allows you to see the splendor of the ACONCAGUA Mount. A dirt road stemming from the International Road leads to the beautiful Horcones lagoon and the Aconcagua Provincial Park.
Back on the International Road you will see Customs House at Horcones and right up ahead, almost at the border with Chile, Las Cuevas. It is a small town built following European style at 3200 meters above sea level.
As we move on and right before reaching the International Tunnel that leads to Chile, there is another road. By taking it, and only if the weather conditions are favorable, you will be able to go up to the Cristo Redentor (The Redeemer) monument set at an altitude of 4200 meters. This monument symbolizes the Argentine-Chilean fraternity. The same road is used to return to Mendoza city

The same has stuffed animals, whale skeleton, remains of the first settlers and an observation point, where you can see an overview of the Isthmus and the two gulfs, San José, Nuevo and Bird Island. Continue to Puerto Piramide where we set sail for the whale watching an hour and a half hours and the guide explains the cycle whaling and developing them in the Golfo Nuevo (Only June to November). In return, free lunch. Then continuation towards the interior of the peninsula known the elephant seal colony at Caleta Valdés, sea lions at Punta Delgada or occasionally watching orcas at Punta Norte (in season). May also be seen in the typical animal tour of the area such as foxes, armadillos, guanacos, hares, maras and rhea. In return brief stop on the beaches of Doradillo for watching whales from shore. Then back to the city of Puerto Madryn arriving at the same between 18 and 18:30 pm approx.
Breakfast. Day at leisure. We suggest tour to Punta Tombo. Punta Tombo was established as a Natural Protected Area in 1979 and it is the habitat of the largest Magellan Penguin colony in the world with a total of 175,000 reproductive pairs. The opening of the season is determined in accordance with the first penguin arrivals, approximately in the early days of September and it lasts until the beginning of April.
In this excursion you will stay about two hours and a half in order to observe the penguins, their behavior and way of living. You will be able to se other animals like gumps, armadillos. Ñandues, foxes, etc.
In our way back to Puerto Madryn, we will visit the city of Trelew and its most important places for example its square, the new Paleontological Museum Egidio Feruglio (optional). Then we will continue up to Gaiman, where we will do a brief city tour and taste the traditional Welsh tea. After a prudential time, we will return to Puerto Madryn arriving at 18.30hs approximately.
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Calafate (FTE). Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Breakfast. Full day tour to Perito Moreno Glacier. We will drive 80km next to Argentino Lake until we reach Los Glaciares National park. It is incredible how different it is the vegetation next to Andes. We will drive following Brazo Rico (arm of Argentino Lake) till we arrive to the whisper turn, there we will find the amazing Perito Moreno Glacier.
We will park in the footbridge area where we will admire the Perito Moreno Glacier and witness the fall of ice blocks from a close distance.
At the beginning of the footbridge area, the guide will give us a brief explanation and show the way. Before reaching the first balcony, you will observe the plate with the statement of World Heritage of Mankind, granted by the UNESCO in 1981; and farther on, two informative stands about glacier processes and the formation of the Perito Moreno in particular.
Every viewpoint offers a new perspective. From the entrance of the footbridge area, there is a distance of 400 meters to the lowest balcony, the closest to the front of the glacier. The intermediate balcony is the best place to appreciate the northern area of the glacier with a good sight of the Canal de los Témpanos and towards the left of this viewpoint is the second balcony, right opposite the glacier.
Even if the largest glaciers in the Park are the Viedma and the Upsala, the Perito Moreno is a large sized glacier located only 200 meters over sea level, which enables to reach its very front easily, not like the other glaciers, which can only be accessed after trekking or sailing for a while.
The Perito Moreno is the only glacier that maintains its balance, that is to say, all the ice mass it receives from its source basin in the winter is gradually lost in its front during the summer.
Almost at hand reach, a strange set of dimensions and perception for the senses. At times, gentle, quiet, freezing both time and the atmosphere. Once in a while, some murmur, a roar growing from the depths… and suddenly, the solid 70-meter wall succumbs to pressure; it comes away and falls, collapsing clamorously. And one stays there, leaning on the railing, astonished and breathless, waiting for a new calving instance.
As the locals from El Calafate proudly announce, the Perito Moreno glacier has come to be considered as the eighth wonder in the world.
Breakfast. Day at leisure. We suggest Tour Navigation All Glaciers. Another extraordinary excursion recomended in El Calafate is the navigation to the northern arm of the Lake Argentino. In this excursion we will watch the amazing Upsala glacier, that is the biggest glaciar of the south area of the National Park. Also we will se the Spegazzini Glacier that has the higgest wall of the park, 135 meters and the Onellis Glacier. Plenty of icebergs will be moving around the catamaran during the whole tour.
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for flight to Buenos Aires (AEP). Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
Breakfast. Transfer to Ezeiza International Airport for International flight.
